How We Got Started

United Village was founded in response to a pressing need I observed in the community. I noticed that older individuals with family members who cared for them were receiving massages funded by their loved ones, while those without any family support were often left alone in bed, feeling isolated, lost and unloved. It was disheartening to see how happy and secure those who received massages felt, in contrast to those who lacked the same comfort and care during their final moments.

I felt the individuals being massaged were truly blessed to have someone visit them, offering them love and attention through a caring massage. Their backs, hands, and feet were soothed, and their hair gently caressed, all while they experienced a transcendent clearing energy made of love. How fortunate they were to have a loving family network surrounding them!

I wanted the lonely and less fortunate individuals to experience the same blessings. My vision was to create a network of compassionate massage therapist who would extend their love and support to those who may not have anyone else. With the help of our wonderful doners, I aimed to ensure that everyone, regardless of their circumstances, could feel valued and cherished in their final days, surrounded by a community willing to invest in their happiness and well-being.
